The film tells about the adventures of a grandfather who decided to fulfill the ideals of childhood wife, build a house next to paradise falls (a very beautiful waterfall in South America) named Carl Fredricksen and a boy scout named Russell who tried to get the badges to help elderly .

When Carl Fredricksen child, she idolized Charles Muntz an explorer. One day Carl met with Ellie who both idolized Charles Muntz. Then Carl and Ellie grow up and eventually they were married. Carl and Ellie have a desire that has a home in Paradise Falls. Carl worked as a balloon and Ellie as a Zookeeper.
